Tampa Bay Division: New Technology

The world just keeps speeding up! Technology that used to last years now lasts months before it is overtaken by newer, faster, more intelligent technology. It would be easy to become overwhelmed by the pace of change and just decide to “stand aside” and let it happen without us. The unfortunate aspect of that “plan” is that technology won’t go around you, it will run over you! Companies that used to dominate their market are being run over by companies that were just an idea a few months prior. As managers we don’t have the option to step aside, our employees and client have entrusted us with their well being. I have found that the first step is simply to be aware of developments coming down the road. Implement the parts that will work for you or at least keep y0u in the loop. If we fail to keep up we, along with all those that entrusted us with their well being will be piled up with us. We don’t have a duty to win but we do have a duty to TRY to win: Keep moving!!
