Orlando Division: July 4th Risks

July 4th Celebrations this year seem to come with anxiety. With ISIS terrorizing the middle east and threatening an ever increasing number of people it is no wonder people and governments are concerned and increasing security and awareness. The increased awareness is prudent under the circumstances. With so many self radicalized people showing up within the United States and Canada it would be wise to be increasingly vigilant. What we don’t want to do is be paralyzed with fear or let irrational fear overwhelm our lives. Bad things could happen but if we let that fear change our lives and our society we will have already become victims or their terror tactics. Prudent actions and increased vigilance ought to be within our scope of daily lives but we also must be brave enough to face the challenges as our forefathers faced before us. So having said that lets all enjoy our freedoms on this July 4th while being realistic about our new world. Happy and safe July 4th!
