More and more retail stores, both big and small are asking patron not to bring their handguns into their stores and restaurants. Panera Bread recently added their restaurants to the growing list of businesses not wanting their customers and staff exposed to handguns. No one denies the right of individuals their constitutionally protected rights but many people are finding the practice of open carry and even concealed carrying of firearms to be contrary to the atmosphere that they want to have in their establishments. It is doubtful that employers are going to enforce the request with hard enforcement but by simply asking people to comply with their wishes. As a courtesy we should remember the eastern practice of “never bring discomfort into another persons “house”
