Jacksonville Division: Hurricane Joaquin

Hurricane Joaquin is heading towards the east coast. This is an excellent time to remind ourselves how vulnerable we can be with a relatively short notice. Increasingly we are witnessing an increase in severity or storms of all kinds; flooding is becoming common; fires are out of control in the west. I believe this is the new norm with tougher times to come. Remember that “hope” is not a plan. We must prepare for disruption of daily services as we have learned that we cannot predict or prevent. We have a duty to our clients, family and our community to be prepared. It is imperative that we have a workable plan to take care of our duties as well as assist others where we can. The question we must answer: Am I prepared? If not, get going!
