We all know how important security services are to communities and businesses, but what about a fire watch service? Typically, the same company provides both these services. Protecting people, asserts, and businesses from fire is just as important as security.
When your fire suppression system is down or not working properly, buildings under construction, hot works, pyrotechnics are being done, you need a fire watch service according to the U.S. Fire Marshall.
Fire Watch Guards Provide Physical Patrol
Fire Watch Guards provide clients with a specifically trained team on the ground, patrolling the area to ensure the risk of fire remains low.
Patrolling the property, alert for any hazardous conditions and alert for any fire outbreaks. They have the necessary equipment and tools to provide effective service.
Emergency response
In case there is a fire on your property, a fire watch officer quickly notifies the proper authorities, sound an alarm, and evacuate people, to minimize damages. They can also provide access to the building and secured areas for the fire department
Documenting patrol activities
Complete documentation are kept and reports are both written and independently confirmed with GPS time and location data. These reports are submitted to the Fire Marshall’s office, Client, and Curtis Services Headquarters. This will also keep you in compliance with all state and local regulations, avoiding costly fines.
