Have you had a call or visit from the fire Marshal’s Office? Did they order you have a fire watch guard on your property? While it may seem like just another thing to deal with, they are there for protection. They safeguard the people, as well as the assets and buildings themselves from the threat of fire.
Why do you need a fire watch service?
There are a number of reasons why they are required. Hot works, buildings under construction, pyrotechnics, fireworks, and welding is taking place.
Why is a fire watch?
According to the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), “a global self-funded nonprofit organization, established in 1896, devoted to eliminating death, injury, property and economic loss due to fire, electrical and related hazards,” a fire watch guard is responsible for looking out for hazardous situation and notifying the fire department in the event of an emergency.
